Stop violence by enforcing the laws we already have

If Ahmad Rashad hurries, he can hop a flight to Vatican City and toss his hat in the ring, so he can “pontificate” against the Second Amendment on a broader scale.

How about furthering the cause of our freedoms and enforce the hefty laws already enacted, Mr. Rashad?

The violence is out of control because we have allowed it to happen. Obama refuses to allow our Justice Department to enforce laws in existence. Criminals are laughing up their sleeves knowing they have the “protection of the law,” not their victims.

We have a president who continues to play politics rather than unite us for our common good. Mark my words, the American people will see through his charade and come to the realization we have been duped. If we learn by example, look at Obama’s home turf. The most corrupt, infamously derelict city in our land is Obama’s Windy City. All those “tough” gun restrictions have not curbed the inner city violence or murders there every day.

Knee-jerk reactions and empty-headed verbiage do nothing to address the issues of lack of respect for our laws and human life.

Responsible gun owners are arming themselves to protect their families and properties. They are not the problem.

The absence of parental guidance, presence and discipline, teachers more concerned with perks than students, the “Bama phone” mentality, the “flash mob” delinquents wrecking havoc on hardworking store owners, these are the root causes of our disintegrating moral foundation!

Enforce the laws we have. Secure our liberties, our borders, our Constitutional rights. And stay out of my nest! I built it!

Dumb quote from Diane Feinstein who of course is leading the charge to limit ammunition (limit magazine capacity) [“We have federal regulations and state laws that prohibit hunting ducks with more than three rounds, and yet it’s legal to hunt humans with 15-round, 30-round, even 150-round magazines,” she continued”]  Legal to hunt humans? … amazing the lengths she and others will go to in an their effort to violate 2nd amendment rights.  In the meantime while the federal government is attempting to limit private citizen 2nd amendment rights its being reported Homeland Security is stockpiling 1.6 billion rounds of ammunition including hollow point  There are also reports of Homeland Sercurity  inquiries for AR15 and sniper rifles.  Whether all of these reports are totally accurate I don’t know for sure.  I do know its a fact Homeland Security has ordered 100’s of millions of rounds of ammunition.  Here is a link to a copy of one of their bids for contracts Why would Homeland Security need that much ammunition?  What are they expecting? Social Security agents that investigate fraud carry 357 pistols and they recently ordered 174,000 rounds of hollow point ammunition. SS says most of the ammunition will be expended on the firing range.

The rounds they have ordered are hollow point rounds, which by the way are illegal by the Geneva Convention for military use.  Their stated use is supposed to be for target practice, but yet if you look, hollow points are more expensive than full metal jacket rounds.  Somehow I’m not buying it. Then you have the targets they’re using.  Pregnant women, old men and young children…. yeah those are terrorist targets.  Then you have the drones over US soil, weaponized and all.  The administration says it’s “unlikely” that they will be used against Americans on US soil.  I’m not comfortable with “unlikely”. Oh and let’s not forget the several thousand armored HUMVEE’s DHS has ordered also.  Our fine administration is building it’s own personal domestic army.  Kind of sounds familiar to a past leader in Europe.  I’m wondering what “disaster” is in the works to trigger the need for martial law.  North Korea lobbing a nuke?  Total economic failure?  Oh, here’s one, how about the hackers taking down our infrastructure (no power, water, food).  That’s my bet.

Chris Van Hesteren Thanks for your comments.  Year 2008 during Obama’s campaign he said this: [“We cannot continue to rely on our military in order to achieve the national security objectives we’ve set. We’ve got to have a civilian national security force that’s just as powerful, just as strong, just as well-funded.”] Nothing coming out of Obama and his administration would surprise me …. as you said martial law to keep him in office and fulfill his dream of being a dictator.

“By calling attention to ‘a well regulated militia,’ ‘the security of the nation,’ and the right of each citizen ‘to keep and bear arms,’ our founding fathers recognized the essentially civilian nature of our economy… The Second Amendment still remains an important declaration of our basic civilian-military relationships in which every citizen must be ready to participate in the defense of his country. For that reason I believe the Second Amendment will always be important.”     John F. Kennedy, April 1960   We don’t have the time to enforce the gun laws we have. That’s why we need more gun laws.
