Police well acquainted with addition to list of area’s Most Wanted

MANSFIELD — Matthew Hoak is no stranger to the Richland County division of the Northern Ohio Violent Fugitive Task Force.

“We’re familiar with him because we had dealings with him early on in 2010, when we were looking for him on other charges,” Sgt. Tim Shook said.

Hoak was indicted in June on a charge of having weapons under disability. His criminal history includes theft, drug and weapons charges.

“We have checked different locations and believe he may be in the Shelby area and possibly running with someone by the nickname of ‘Bee,’ ” Shook said.

Hoak is 5 feet, 9 inches and weighs 175 pounds. He has blond hair and green eyes.

Anyone with information on his whereabouts is asked to call the task force at 419-774-3565 or 866-4-WANTED.

People also can text the keyword “WANTED” and send a tip to 847411, or go to a at www.usmarshals.gov/district/oh-n/fugitives. Reward money is available, but tipsters also can remain anonymous.

Do these guys ever go to jail..seems like every person they put on the most wanted its the same story… police are real familiar with this person. Its kind of like fishing in some ponds.. catch and release……

They keep slapping these thieves on the hand and releasing them…sooner or later they are going to hit a homeowner that is determined to defend his property and get themselves killed. Then it’s the homeowner that will actually get locked up because they let this scum loose in the first place!

What SB184 means to you: Part I – Castle Doctrine

“If someone kicks down my door to drag off my daughter, or otherwise enters my house with violent intent, they are LEGALLY PRESUMED TO BE THERE TO CAUSE ME SERIOUS PHYSICAL HARM OR DEATH. No more burden on the homeowner. The burden is placed back where it belongs: on the bad guy.” (buckeyefirearms.org, Ohio SB184-2006)

This is good news to homeowners. They no longer have to concern themselves with self-defense in the home, especially in a situation such as you’re describing.

Just one of MANY, just get your CCW – THEY want you to take matters in your own hands, that’s why I’m curious WHY THEY keep raising taxes on the premise THEY will keep us safe! – ROTFLMAO @ this BS!
