I got great enjoyment out of this idiot, Mansfield DON’T CELEBRATE FREEDOM, they would rather Celebrate CONTROL.

Funny MNJ would post such a fantastic reasoning, yet don’t believe in it what so ever!

Dont forget why we celebrate

It would be easy to look at July 4, 2014 as another long weekend away from work or a great chance to gather with friends and family in the heart of summer.

While there’s nothing wrong with that per se, it’s that Independence Day is so much more than a day off.

Independence Day in the United States commemorates the day the Declaration of Independence was approved by the Continental Congress and was spurred by a letter written by John Adams to his wife, Abigail.

In the letter, Adams told her, “It ought to be solemnized with pomp and parade, with shows, games, sports, guns, bells, bonfires, and illuminations, from one end of this continent to the other, from this time forward forever more.”

Adams actually was referring to July 2, which was the day the Congress voted in favor of a resolution of independence from Great Britain, but Americans always have celebrated their independence on July 4.

Friday is a day of national pride. Regardless of our ideology, it’s easy to come together on July 4 to celebrate the freedoms we enjoy … with parades, concerts, fireworks and picnics. Issues divide us. The Fourth of July is meant to unify us, even if for a short time.

The Declaration of Independence includes not only a list of grievances against the king and British government, but adds a formal announcement that the colonies were formally leaving England and includes the basic rights that all should have. It’s impact on countries across the world is indelible.

Now, 238 years later, we celebrate the birth of a nation. In Ohio and across the country, illuminations — commonly known as fireworks — will burst upon the night sky, barbecues and picnics will take place, and parades and baseball games will be part of the fun we enjoy. Adams would be proud of the way we celebrate this day.

The celebrations are guided by the freedom we hold dear. We’re also thankful for those who have fought, worked and even died to protect those freedoms.

We still find value in the words, written by Thomas Jefferson for the Declaration of Independence, “We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness.”

And, so as we gather with friends and family this July 4, let’s do so with a nod to the document that launched a nation, changed the world and made history.

And my son is serving overseas at this moment and I am very proud of him, he would love to be home with his fiancé and her 2 beautiful children to go see fireworks or just spend the day with them and see his family and friends, but he is doing what he has to keeping them safe in our country.

I can see how the average person, looking from the outside would think that.
I’m going to enlighten you.

Considering the revolution we are now experiencing the 4th is THE IDEAL day to engage the enemy.
We have a president that was raised by a socialist/communist mother, married to a black racist woman, who launched his career in the living room of an American bomber terrorist, that declared he was going to fundamentally change America. (into the Socialist States of America)

I urge you to read Rules for Radicals by Saul Alinski. Obama taught it, he is very familiar with it, and once you understand the methodology Obama is employing, you will clearly see it. The latest example is his previous lack of action on immigration reform when he had a fully Democratic Congress. Read it, become educated, and you will understand.

Because of the heroic effort of a minority of House members, his efforts have been partially blocked, causing him to violate the Constitution and get slapped 13 times by the USSC. for doing so. He just stated – he is not finished making law himself.

While it is not a fighting war, it is revolutionary war once again.

Many are awaking to the mistake of electing the most unqualified candidate in history, just because he was black. His constant lies, lack of leadership, and illegal actions, horrible economic and foreign policies, have accumulated over the last 6 years to the point he is now acknowledged as the worst president since WWII. the majority of Americans now feel he is unfit to lead.

As a soldier in this war, I am fighting to regain the greatness that America once had. I am a patriot, upholding the Constitution, at war with those that are attempting to destroy our heritage, transform us in to a socialist state, and ruining our economy.

So, what better day, than today, to celebrate the winning of another revolution.

Why do you spin so much? The facts are, the Founding Fathers were liberal were trying to get away from the conservative ideals and plutocratic rule of a King.

So 66% of peopled polled do not believe Obama is the worst and you call that proof, only a con would feed that to people and expect them to swallow it, only a fool would swallow.

{“Adams would be proud of the way we celebrate this day.”} Yes indeed John Adams would be proud of the way we celebrate Independence Day. But I wonder if Adams would be proud of a huge out of control federal government. Would he be proud the average American is forced to pay close to 50% in local, state, federal, sales, utility, phone, property, capital gains, gas, and all the other hidden taxes. Would he be proud the NSA spies on every American. Would he be proud the US Justice Dept tapped the phones of the news media. Would be be proud we are $17 trillion in debt. Would he be proud that many of our college youth cannot cite any guaranteed freedoms listed in the first amendment and some cannot even name the V.P. of the USA. Would he be proud that our current president lied over and over again to get government managed health care passed including a mandate that violates religious freedom. Would he be proud that many of our government agencies are bloated, corrupt, inefficient that intimidate and harass stomp on individual liberties.

If John Adams and other founders were alive today they would bear arms and march on Obama and Washington DC.

Yes, we need to reflect on our country on the 4th of July, the direction it is headed, and why we have continued the downward spiral since 2006.

The first quarter of this year, the economy declined. But, our president claims we are getting better. We deserve more an constant lies.

Friday is supposed to be a day of national pride. But Gallup shows a marked increase in the number of Americans that feel they have lost personal freedoms. The U.S. ranks 36th on the roster — behind such countries as Uzbekistan

We are being lead by the worst president since WWII

54% polled say Obama is incapable of leading America.

But, Obama is just a tool. He’s not the problem. . . The problem is the people and their ideals that elected him twice. True, many BO votes are experiencing buyer’s remorse, but the fact remains, there is a hard core of liberal believers out there, that is taking this country in the wrong direction.

Their base defense? ” But, but, But, Bush”, and “those damn Republicans”. The results are in, and the liberal agenda does not work, and never will work in a capitalist economy. We can’t fight a war for others, we cannot take in the world’s poor, we cannot exist in a nanny/welfare state, we must get smart on the war on terror, we must improve the economy, we must modify the ACA, we must get the price of energy back down, we must get the cost of food back down. The list of destruction the liberals have done to this country is extensive.

So, while you are enjoying the family picnic on Friday, have a discussion about what can be done for this country. Have a great holiday.

    • When President Obama took office in January 2009 our country was in complete disarray. We were tied up in two wars, our auto industry was on the verge of complete collapse, Wall Street just had to be bailed out and we were losing hundreds of thousands of jobs every month among just some of the bigger horrible events going on during that time. But it wasn’t too long after Obama became president that our job losses were cut in half, unemployment bottomed out and we started inching our way towards our first month of over four years of private sector job growth. Imagine if a Republican president took us from the worst recession in nearly a century to positive private sector job creation in one year. Then they followed that by over four years (and counting) of consecutive private sector job growth, gaining back every job we lost from the economic crash. Then besides just the job growth they saved the American auto industry, killed Osama bin Ladin, forced Syria to give up their chemical weapons without firing a single shot and presided over record breaking stock markets – just to name a few things. Then when you add in things like we’re still enjoying historically low taxes, our deficits have been reduced by more than half, domestic oil production is at some of its highest levels in decades and corporate profits are at record highs – that would seal the deal as a true conservative icon.
