Pair: The Sheriff targeted us – Now that has me laughing! (It’s usually called Karma?)

The Story on the MNJ… Pair: Sheriff’s office targeted us

Just like when Mark did the story for one of his buds, this too will surely blow up in their faces as people join the truth here and can speak freely????

Don’t want to be CENSORED?, JOIN US HERE! – https://www.facebook.com/groups/MansfieldersPerspective/

“A retired Richland County sheriff’s sergeant claims he was the victim of targeting by Sheriff Steve Sheldon and Capt. Eric Bosko.” – Interesting!

“Jeff McBride and Mark Drum, FOP secretary/legislative chairman, say the targeting happened because McBride and Sgt. Mike Viars were potential political threats to Sheldon.” – Interesting! – I wonder how they like politics now? I personally believe  they were targeted because of their being links to how the sheeple here are oppressed. One being McBrides work with Children Services that rose eyebrows with his involvement there, then add in the fact Viars was able to use the publics trust with a security business one could also think how he abuse his power in that role? All speculation, but we all know who their friends are (Judges & Prosecutors) – so this may get a lot worse for corruption than once first thought. It will be interesting how this story blows in their face, especially after seeing there are 36 comments with 14 being censored for their content. Maybe those who are blocked can come here to “tell it like it is”????? They surely can’t do it on the MNJ, which to me sends up a huge flag!!!!!!!

“There was a concern that one of them might run against him,” Drum said. “They were the targets of quite unusual investigations. Bosko undertook both of them.” – Hmmm?

“Earlier this year, the U.S. Attorney’s Office announced it would not take any cases handled by Bosko, alleging he was “deliberately untruthful and deceiving” about an unspecified case.” – There’s a lot of deceit that goes a long way in RC, most of which comes from the elected circle of power which has to include Prosecutors and Judges, something you’re not hearing here! Birds of a feather must work together, the awakening with all of this has just begun. With the Government running out of money for their obsequious followers we will surely see more coming out as their jobs become expendable. You can’t silence the truth, and now that there’s an outlet willing to share these truths, this deceitful regime will falter. Hopefully in the 2014 Elections will bring us a REAL CHOICE, something we haven’t had in years!

Sheldon denied the targeting allegations in a news release.

“It is categorically false to suggest that I or anyone associated with the sheriff’s office have targeted any individual, whether it be an employee or a member of the general public, for reasons of animus or to gain some political advantage,” he wrote. “As a general proposition, complaints regarding wrongdoing by employees or members of the general public almost always come from fellow employees or citizens, not the command staff with the RCSO. This was the case with respect to the disciplinary matters involving now retired Sgt. McBride and current Sgt. Viars.” – Ahhh, the Sheriff of Nottingham speaks! – lol, ALL politicians are LIARS!, especially those who benefit from the oppressed who lose their homes to such corruption.

I worked for Dick Petty and Dale Shetler this much I know under Sheriff Petty he wanted you to do you’re job ! Under Sheriff Shetler HE had the communities Best interest at Heart ! Out of all the Sheriffs I have ever known Sheriff Shetler was the most Professional and demanded that of his department ! Sheriff Stierhoff restored the Integrity that had been lost over the years ! sheriff Sheldon had done a good job but if there is all this problems going on it’s time to stop ! I have a feeling in 2016 the Sheriff will NOT run unopposed he may face the Likes of Dale Fortney I would say Jeff McBride who also was a Good Officer or who knows but at this rate Steve it is not looking good make a commitment to the citizens and clean up your Department ! Maybe like other elected offices there should be a term limit of 2 terms for any elected official in the state of Ohio I hate to say this because of the Good Politicians we do have but maybe holding office after 8 years is enough for anyone individual !

I worked dispatch for RCSO , for almost 10 years ,and I can tell you , its not all what it is cracked up to be . Now with the economy being what it is , tell me why people would walk away from a job , making decent money , or retiring ? Because of management that is why ! Its not just at RCSO , it is all of the county . At the EMA , where I worked , you have an EMA director he is retired from Madison fire , collects pension , he then retires from EMA and goes to FEMA , the new director (that was the deputy director) takes over , he is retired from Mansfield fire collects pension , the he passes away , and the old EMA director that works for FEMA , takes leave from FEMA to come back when the current EMA director has a stroke and is hospitalized to take duties over for him , so to put some light on this , the former EMA director …See More

“He was my union rep” pretty much says it all for me. You know, so far all I have seen was county workers, or ex county workers commenting. This is rediculous. Am I the only actual “civilian” that has a say in this? Come on Richland County. So he was your union rep? That there should have him jailed. You guys about put our county under. You and your “union rep” that is. I could care less what you have to say about your co-workers. Ofcourse you are going to defend them. Who wouldn’t? I hate to tell you this sweetheart but you are “one of the good ole boys”. At least to people like me. Mere peasents that we are. I have said nothing about your little circle. Have not said that anyone was Innocent or guilty. All I said was this was handled wrong. And in an unprofessional manner. Other than Messer being wrong for let…See More

I personally knew Sheriff Steirhoff and Jeff McBride through the years I went to MCH. When Sheriff Steirhoff was elected into officed it was the best department Richland Co. had seen. Many of us remember the Weikle Spognardi years and all the other corruption that has followed the department until Sheriff Steirhoff took over. Jeff McBride was endorsed by the Sheriff when he wanted to leave office to attend to his wife Lana Sue whom was also a large part of our class of 1981 MCH class parents very involved with our class we all loved them. McBride was endorsed because Jim Steirhoff was a good judge of character and knew of Jeff’s record through school as well as after. And now to hear that the Attorney General’s office will not take any cases from Eric Bosko that in itself tells us there is something going on and believe the AG’s office will if not already launch a full investigation on the dept., All I can say is You can’t fight crime by doing crime that is a double standard mentality.. Time to clean up Mansfield again. Hopefully Jeff McBride will think about running for Sheriff again and if I still lived in the city he would have my vote!!.

It’s all stupid. Another Weikle agenda. They wonder why most of the citizens don’t trust them. Read the article. Crap like this is why.

I don’t think you people really grab the concept of what is going on here. How professional is it for one department to make a public statement about another? Not very. So we need to ask ourselves not only why is this happening, but why is the MNJ contributing to it when any other department they have a small story and that is it. Why are they not airing the problems of other departments like the Sherriff’s? It’s quite simple. Up until now Sheldon has not been contested for his seat as sheriff. Anyone want to bet me he will be next election? Anyone want to be the MNJ will endorse the other candidate? Look, I have no idea if McBride or Viars did right or wrong. That is something for the inside people. But I do know this. A department that has no complaints about an officer is a department that is good on cover ups. I want bad cops out. I want crime in my area down especially drugs. I can not see this happening with department fighting with each other and amongs themselves Like it or not, Messer still represents Mansfield Police Dept. This needs to stop and stop right now.

messer, did what was the rite thing to do in that situation, to keep himself and the city out of the courts over this fiasco. as far as drum, he was no flight risk, unlike so many that get arrested.

Garry Mills No, he was a pal of Messers. This was unethical and you know it. This is a slap in the face to everyone who has had had to spend the weekend in jail. Including me. I was also not found guilty of anything but and by no means was a flight risk. But still had to spend all that time in jail. Wasn’t fun especially for someone who didn’t do it. You know as well as I do that was unethical. Messer did what was good for Messer. Because this sure as heck could have been handled differently. But Grudges they are a *itch.

When Jim Stierhoff was sheriff there was never any of these stories. He was a decent upright man. Fair, and honest so there wasn’t any trouble. Now, there is obviously something going on and whichever side you land on it still is sketchy at best. There is something rotten in our law enforcement no matter how you toss it and I for one despise the waste of public money for vendetta arrests and lawsuit payouts. If Viars and McBride had been as guilty as depicted then there would have been charges and we would not have paid anyone $290,000 to settle a lawsuit. I wish it would have gone to court because maybe then the wash could have been hung for all of us to see.

Go ahead, sue the county for starting with the letter R. See what happens. It is so much cheaper just to settle than to fight it out. anyone who has ever done the funky chicken on a patch of ice at a store can tell you that.

Sheriff James Stierhoff ran a “tight ship” and was respected by all. He turned around the bad reputation of the Richland County Sheriff’s Department. What a shame that we have to hear about problems there again.
