Only the News Journal would post this…Republicans should be charged with treason?

In an attempt to make President Obama look bad, Republicans have stated overtly that they will not pass any legislation to aid our economy until after the elections. They have further added that their only agenda this year is to get the president removed from office.

These Republicans were elected by the people of the United States of America to serve the United States of America, not to serve only their own selfish agenda.

By stalling and refusing to vote on legislation that would fix the economy they are damaging this country, its economy and the middle and lower classes.

Therefore, the Republicans should immediately be charged with treason.

I would add that Repubs will not pass the Dems socialists wants and desires. That is what the Dems see as not wanting get economic legislation accomplished, thus being treasonist. The Repubs have put up many Bills only to have the Dems shoot them down. Treason is the Dem Party, for trying to make this nation a socialist nation–contrary to our Founders intent and our Constitution. Don’t even try to turn the tables. It will only work with you sheepole, of which there are many in Mansfield.

The Demorats here have been representing us here long enough, the last 40+ years, and it’s funny how Mansfield has embraced their socialist entitlement ways!. They are so stupid (sheeple), they don’t realize what allows you to be free (work). We’ll see when their income tax this fall fails now that the State is cutting off some of their socialist funding. Like the Sheriff said…”Crime will Soar” – THEY will be leading the charge!
This is an outright Liberal/Democrat/Progressive/Commie lie. The Democrats are getting desperate.
If you listen to Republicans enough you get the idea that they would rather have this country dissolve rather than have a Democrat as a president.
Fred, nice flag you stupid puke. Anyone who does that to an American flag deserves to get their ass kicked.

As I recall, Democrat Nancy Pelosi (Speaker of the House of Representatives Jan 4, 2007-Jan 3, 2011) stated during President George W. Bush’s presidency that they (the Democrats) wouldn’t pass any legislation the Republicans were trying to pass and that he should join them. They repeated shot down any legislation that they weren’t trying to enforce in order to get a Democratic president in power. As a result, a Democratic president did come into power and within 3 months drove the National debt further than all the preceeding presidents combined.

People were not killed by socialism. They were killed by ruthless dictators. If America were indeed a totally Capitalist society, as it was before the 1930’s, it would be a very stark and uncaring country. Without the tempering provided by a little socialism, Capitalism is a very harsh system.

Boo Hoo, it was a fact of life. Thankfully that was eradicated. If the word plantation offends some people, then “somme” people need to grow some thicker skin. Places in the south are still called “PLANTATIOINS” some even owned by ancestors of former slaves. Apparantly they’re not offended. I see the “National Propaganda Radio” moniker on the link above. GO FIGURE! Without Soros they’d be another “Air America”! Nothing keeps a person dependant better then free handouts. Therefore the welfare plantation term. Instead of teaching them to fish they are kept in line waiting for their handouts. I believe in helping people but not making it more comfortable then having them stand on their own two feet.

This post is absolutely correct. The Republicans have become a party of greed, obstructionism and what is good for the wealthy. They portray the poor, middle class and most minorities as leaches upon society. Apparently they feel they are the chosen few and the rest of us do not matter. They favor tax breaks for the wealthy over what is good for main stream Americans. They want to control women’s health issues but not corporate greed. They feel bail outs for big business is good (as in the savings and loan and Tarp bailouts.) They do not think most of us should have health care. They now want to balance the budget on the backs of the poor and middle class.
Their “Let them eat cake” mentality is both despicable and sad.

Larry Powell. A little something you have no clue about. They are called facts!

The day the democrats took over was *not* January 22nd 2009, it was
actually January 3, 2007… the day the Democrats took over the House of
Representatives and the Senate, at the very start of the 110th Congress.

The Democrat Party controlled a majority in both chambers for the first
time since the end of the 103rd Congress in 1995.

For those who are listening to the liberals propagating the fallacy that
everything is “Bush’s Fault”, think about this:
January 3rd, 2007 was the day the Democrats took over the Senate and the
    Congress. At the time:

The DOW Jones closed at 12,621.77
The GDP for the previous quarter was 3.5%
    The Unemployment rate was 4.6%

George Bush’s Economic policies SET A RECORD of 52 STRAIGHT MONTHS of JOB
    GROWTH
    Remember the day…

January 3rd, 2007 was the day that Barney Frank took over the House
Financial Services Committee and Chris Dodd took over the Senate Banking
    Committee.

The economic meltdown that happened 15 months later was in what part of the
    economy?
    BANKING AND FINANCIAL SERVICES!

Unemployment… to this CRISIS by (among MANY other things) dumping 5-6
TRILLION Dollars of toxic loans on the economy from YOUR Fannie Mae and
    Freddie Mac FIASCOES!

Bush asked Congress *17 TIMES* to stop Fannie & Freddie – starting in 2001
because it was financially risky for the US economy.

And who took the THIRD highest pay-off from Fannie Mae AND Freddie Mac?
    OBAMA
And who fought against reform of Fannie and Freddie?
    OBAMA and the Democrat Congress
So when someone tries to blame Bush..****
REMEMBER JANUARY 3rd, 2007…. THE DAY THE DEMOCRATS TOOK OVER!”
Budgets do not come from the White House. They come from Congress, and the
party that controlled Congress since January 2007 is the Democrat Party.

Furthermore, the Democrats controlled the budget process for 2008 & 2009 as
    well as 2010 & 2011.
In that first year, they had to contend with George Bush, which caused them
to compromise on spending, when Bush somewhat belatedly got tough on
    spending increases.

For 2009 though, Nancy Pelosi & Harry Reid bypassed George Bush entirely,
passing continuing resolutions to keep government running until Barack
Obama could take office. At that time, they passed a massive omnibus
spending bill to complete the 2009 budgets.

And where was Barack Obama during this time? He was a member of that very
Congress that passed all of these massive spending bills, and he signed the
omnibus bill as President to complete 2009.

If the Democrats inherited any deficit, it was the 2007 deficit, the last
of the Republican budgets. That deficit was the lowest in five years, and
the fourth straight decline in deficit spending. After that, Democrats in
Congress took control of spending, and that includes Barack Obama, who
    voted for the budgets.

If Obama inherited anything, he inherited it from himself. In a nutshell,
what Obama is saying is “I inherited a deficit that I voted for and then I
voted to expand that deficit four-fold since January 20th.”

there are 372 bills that have been passed by the House but not yet been acted upon by the Senate. Which chamber is at fault for this? Is the House wildly passing superfluous bills, or is the Senate failing to keep up with matters that need to be addressed? For the most part, the latter. According to our analysis of data from OpenCongress and GovTrack, the House has passed many broadly popular bills that are stalling in the Senate for reasons other than their content.

The GOP bill is called the “Jobs Through Growth Act” and doesn’t include a single item in President Obama’s jobs legislation, which Senate Republicans killed in a Tuesday night vote.

Very funny. That is the repeal Obamacare nonsense legislation. The truth is the Republicans have not offered up anything that is palatable to the Senate as a whole.

How does a person get a paying job writing this same old liberal bias?
Better question, how do they KEEP that job by rewriting the same old propoganda?
