Gun rights activists test police on open carry laws

The Police should be TESTED! – How else do you know who’s side they’re on?……………………………..Ours or the Terrorists????? As we have CLEARLY seen by those who serve, not ALL are the brightest cookies in the bag, hmmm?   http://www.mansfieldnewsjournal.com/videonetwork/3303484380001/Assault-rifle-carrying-activists-test-police-knowledge – Video They want to show you.

Here’s the VIDEO on youtube they don’t, hmmmm?

You knew I would have to comment on this! Americans are quite frankly sick and tired of being harassed. We know there’s no such thing as terrorism other than the fact being a ploy to tear down our Constitution. As you will see we have people like J.D. Cook who will even say these people are poking the bear, what the hell does he mean by that? The “bear” is “the people”, lets get that straight first and foremost, this is the USA, not Russia, China, OR Nazi Germany! Why do you think we have the second amendment friend, hunting? – lol!

This moron is just trying to get his 15 minutes and possibly a pay day as well. He surely knew that it is his right to open carry but why poke the bear (those gun hungry liberals and those that can not think for themselves)? He might be trying to further his cause but really he is just hurting it, sad.

When these cops violate the civil rights of citizens, a couple things need to happen: 1. They need to compensate the victim from their own savings/retirement/assets. 2. They need to be barred from working as a l.e.o. ANYWHERE.Additionally, given the epidemic of dogs shot by police, the O.R.C. needs to be revised to include the same penalties when a cop shoots a family pet which has bitten no one as currently exist for people who kill a K-9 officer: 3rd degree felony in the event the pet dies and 4th degree felony if treatment by a veterinarian is needed. Of course, the l.e.o. would also then no longer be able to work in that field. Immunity & Professional Courtesy leaves me ROTFL!

Police do not have the “right” to stop anyone. They have been granted the AUTHORITY to do so under specific circumstances. Stopping a person with a firearm to verify age, check to see if they are a felon, or to see if they have a “disability” is not legal without supporting evidence.  Absolutely true!, how ever we are living in a police state in which all they need is a paranoid to be in fear for their life to warrant serve & protect????

and what would be the evidence they need to do just that?

Peggy Goldberg generally, personal experience with the person. Police MUST be able to articulate, to a judge, a reasonable suspicion of why they suspected an open carrier of being a felon, under age, or being adjudicated mentally incompetent.

question, why does the 2nd amendment not include any clause that says convicted persons or one with the lights being dim cant have one? If its not there then they can.

Peggy, I was replying to Robert, not you. Hence the salutation “Robert” rather than “Peggy”. I agree with your initial comment.

Tod Mills not exactly, if your rights were returned after the court sanctions, then persons should be able to carry as well, until and if they commit a future crime. no where does the constitution limit to keep and bear arms, IF…there are no added ifs to it. Not every felon is a violent offender, and after they have completed all the terms of court sanctions, and their rights returned to them, theres nothing any where in that constitution that states certain rights have been taken perminatelyfor life. Same goes with mental defects, not all retards, are violent, not all people on SSI are mentally unsafe to own a fire arm, should it then be decided, and by whom who is stable enough to own one, and where is that written in the 2nd amendment? Theres supposedly sane persons who own them, till they snap and shoot someone cause they squished their grass, or called someone fat. And Iam not Robert, I need some extra junk to be classified as male.

Kristin Anderson (@KRISTINWKYC), are you just another uneducated (in firearms) leftist liberal? That weapon he was carrying is NOT an assault weapon. An AR-15 is a semi-automatic rifle that looks like, but does not operate the same, as the military’s M-16. When you pull the trigger, one round is fired per each squeeze of the trigger. The M-16 has a selector switch to allow for burst mode (3 rounds per squeeze of the trigger), the AR-15 does not. The selector switch on the AR-15 has only 2 positions, safe (non-firing) or fire (semi-automatic). Other than the cosmetic changes to the AR, it is the same rifle (internally) as most any other semi-automatic hunting rifle.I would recommend a follow-up piece on what the laws are for open and concealed carry in the state of Ohio. News media should be more for education than stirring up emotional responses that typically are aroused by that scarey looking SEMI-AUTOMATIC rifle. The more the public is educated about firearms and the laws, the less those low-information types would get scared by seeing someone walking down the street carrying a weapon.  Mansfield don’t like their people educated, have you see their REPORT CARD = F means they FAIL!To reply to your question, If I looked out my window and saw someone carrying an AR-15 over their shoulder, I’d probably just shake my head and think to myself about how dumb that person is, then carry on about my day. Now, on the other hand, if he had it in the ready fire position and appearing as though he were about to open fire, then I’d be concerned. Should that young man have decided to walk down the street open carrying? It’s his right, not a bright idea, but so far, there are no laws against poor judgement. This type of behavior just feeds the gun grabber liberals’ fears of weapons. I pretty much agree with what Mr. Graupmann said that the young man was only looking for a quick payday.

Looking over some of the posts on Facebook, there are plenty of comments that show ignorance of the open carry laws here in Ohio. It probably wouldn’t hurt for some of those posters to get educated on what the 2nd Amendment is. It is most definitely NOT about hunting.

Keep in mind that many of the Affirmative Action cops are “quota dopes” who cannot even read the instruction books, or study the laws they are supposed to enforce.
Reply · 2 · Don’t forget they are known liars and frauds too! Meaning their word is gold against yours – no accountability thanks to immunity and professional courtesy. Better hope you’re a friend or have a camera to record the stop, or you’ll be sorry!

So are we to presume from your highly intelligent comment that you were arrested or ticketed by a “quota dope”? Surely you are not lumping the majority of minority police officer as somebody that can not read the instruction books or study the laws they are supposed to enforce?Racist much? – Racist?, Nice! After 3 years I think it’s time to update the photo on your fake facebook account – lol!
